Soccer Weekend wasnt what i was expecting.

Our mexican team had to struggle to keep the match a tie... no goals... kind of boring actually. I watched it with only girlfriends and only 2 of us were mexican, but the other girls are married to mexicans, and their home teams arent playing so they cheered for us.

Then Italia wasnt as dominating as i thought they would be. The US did play a good match i think.

Then I must say this and not because i have Australian friends, but these guys played a fantastic match. Brasil is not playing good and i think Australia's effort and excelent game wasnt reflected in the score... not good.

Mexico is playing Portugal on Wednesday... at 9 am, so i think we might set a tv here at the office and watch... our hopes are up, if they decide to give it all...

Monday... i dont even know who is playing... ive got the monday blues....

World Cup Weekend

At 2.00 pm mexican time, mexico will play against Angola... lets see what happens. I will leave my office at 2.00 or earlier if i manage to sneak out... which ill probably do since everyone else will most probably...

Tomorrow, Geez... I definitely want to watch the Australia-Brasil match and sincerely my cheering will go both ways.

And of course Viva L'Italia!!!!

Today Im BRASILIAN

And im excited and i wish we had the day off like they do in Brasil, to watch and celebrate the game.

I just talked to my brasilian friend, he said he woke up at 6 am to the sound of fire games and party, and that they have the day off and that they are planning big celebrations. Churrasco, caipirinha y cerveza....

Ahhh im in love with soccer, im in love with Ronaldinho.... (and have been for a while)....

Mexico 3!!!

Im not really a soccer fan, i go and watch soccer matches just beacause of the beer and food mostly... i dont know a bit about the basics (well a bit yes, im mexican and my dad and brothers and other males around me are way into soccer , so...)

But i must admit that watching the match made me a bit (a BIG bit) excited about soccer and are sooo looking forward to watch the other matches and other teams as well.

Congrats to my Aussie readers on their victory!!!

Im running now since i want to catch the Italy-Ghana match... just to watch some leggs....

Thank God i didnt!

A yellow bus was a second from crashing my car badly... it passed by in what seemed the speed of light and as adrenaline took over my brain and body i thought so many things... good and bad.

You die alone... and every day at everytime you can be subject to death... who knows in the most stupid way even.

Of course i stopped complaining about everything... i had been given the chance of one more day (at least) and that is awful good luck, so why bother if traffic sucks or if my bank balance is "funny", or if i was beaten in texas holdem or if i couldnt stick to my never ending diet....

I was so happy to feel the air hit me, and the heat make me sweat and my feet hurt from walking because my shoes are awesome but make my feet blister....

I am lucky. I dont want to die... not yet. I have a good life.

Today someone asked me if im happy, and i am! i didnt have to think a lot before answering... im happy. Why? well because of the whole bunch of great things that happen every day.

i wake up not as early as most of my friends, and then if i do its my choice and i use those early hours to jog a bit instead of having to go directly to an office.

i love orange juice, and i can drink a glass of natural, fresh juice every morning.

theres friendly people in my working environment... well... mostly, but the ones who arent know better...

i have good friends, fun friends to talk to and do things with

i can take a nap almost every day

my dog can go up the stairs backwards (a couple of steps only though) hahaha

my cat purrs when i smell her belly and lets me kiss her nose
